The graphic artists Bert Jäger, Heinz Schwabe and Prof. Hermann Schardt have each delivered one design series to Ernst Adolf Wuttke. In close consultation with the interested expert circles, the art advisory board selected the suggestions of Bert Jäger, who managed to place the individual motifs in the small area in a brand-appropriate way by means of strict lines and a clear layout of the areas. The Federal Minister of Posts and Telecommunications has approved this election. For the first time in the Saarland welfare stamps are issued with the corresponding Swiss francs 6 + 4, 12 + 6, 20 + 7 and 35 + 10 and the suffix »Saarland«.
