This is the image of the Frauenkirche in Munich, which was built in 1468-1488 in late Gothic style. But it was not until 1525 that the famous "Welschen Hauben" were "put on" in the Renaissance style. It is one of the largest hall churches in southern Germany. The towers are the landmark of Munich. In the interior under the choir are the bones of Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian. In 1944, the Frauenkirche was almost completely destroyed and plundered, but rebuilt in several steps, most recently in 1994.
