The brand motif shows Maria Theresa as a young girl after a painting by Andreas Möller (1684-ca.1762). This represents a time when she has not yet assumed the responsible position of head of state. Maria Theresa was on May 13, 1717 as the daughter of Emperor Charles VI. (1685-1740) and his wife Elisabeth Cristine of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (1691-1750). A brother who was born before her died before he was one year old. Even before the birth of Maria Theresa, the emperor had issued the "Pragmatic Sanction". This inheritance regulation stipulated that all territories of his monarchy should be "indivisible and inseparable" and, moreover, extended to the female members of the ore house. Among many victims, the emperor also gained recognition abroad. Maria Theresa, however, grew up at the court of her father, without being particularly prepared for the coming regency. But she enjoyed much of the culture of the former Viennese court. In 1736 she married Duke Franz Stephan of Lorraine (1708-1756). In 1737 he was appointed Reichsmarschall and Commander in Chief in the Turkish War.
