The brand image shows a partial view of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. It celebrated the anniversary of the 25th anniversary on 3 August 1960. After the project and under the direction of the Hofrat Dipl.-Ing. Franz Wallack built in the years 1930-1935. The idea that led to the planning and construction of the new high mountain road resulted from the need to create a road link between Austrian Carinthia, East Tyrol and the North Tyrol remaining after the Treaty of St. Germain. The high mountain conditions allowed only five months of construction per year. The Grossglockner High Alpine Road was the first Alpine crossing planned and built for modern motor vehicle traffic. He was constantly adapted to the new demands of modern road traffic. In the first year of its existence, 130,000 visitors to the Grossglockner High Alpine Road were counted, in 1960 there were already more than one million.
