This special postage stamp appeared on the 250th anniversary of the death of Upper Austrian architect Michael Prunner. His baptism is testified on September 4, 1669 by an entry in the baptism book of the city parish of Linz. After that, the historical sources are silent for 35 years about his future life. Only a registration in the citizen book of the city of Linz from 17 April 1705 reports that Johann Michael Prunner "as a received master mason a building craze brought forth as a masterpiece and as a habster the ordinary duty dropped off". In Linz, he was in the course of its further development as a construction expert and since 1734 as a member of the "Outer Council" out. The brand image shows the Holy Trinity Church of Stadl-Paura. The Baroque master died on April 26, 1739.
