On the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the Saarland city of Hamburg, the Deutsche Bundespost Saarland issued a special postage stamp on June 14, 1958. Pictured is a city view of Homburg with the Schlossberg. Since November 20, 1947, the French currency was 1 Franc = 100 centimes on the Saarland stamps. the editorial board therefore records the nominal values from catalog number 226 in centimes.
