A car originating from the Biedermeier is depicted on the second special postage stamp: the coronation country. Emperor Franz I commissioned this "all-weather vehicle" for the Hungarian coronation of his fourth wife, Carolina Augusta, in 1824 from the Viennese wagon maker Ulmann. The special feature of this car is that its roof, not as was customary at the time, was built of solid wood, but of leather. Thus, the roof could be opened or closed depending on the weather. Not only on the outside, but also on the inside, the Coronation Landing was perfectly decorated for its purpose. The interior decoration came only from the finest velvet and the finest silk, the dark green painted exterior was decorated with golden oak bordure doors.
