The three stamps of block 12 of the joint edition each show an oval ornament around the value indication and were issued in favor of the refugee and old age help, as can be seen below on the block. The block itself appeared on the occasion of the stamp exhibition Berlin 1946. The catalog numbers 911 to 970 are postage stamps that were valid for both the American and British zones as well as in the Soviet occupation zone. In the US and British zones until June 22, 1948, in the Soviet zone until July 31, 1948.
