The board game »Man does not annoy you« is a classic that has been providing fun in German living rooms for generations. "Mensch ärgere Dich nicht" started its triumphal procession more than 90 years ago in the trenches of the First World War. The way there had found the game with the colorful wooden cones from the hospitals, to which the Munich employee and player inventor Josef Friedrich Schmidt gave away a first edition of 3,000 copies in 1914. Until then, no one wanted to buy his idea, which was later celebrated as the »Century Game«. Nowadays, the game is popular all over the world and has brought it to a circulation of more than 70 million pieces - and under different names: that is what is called in France »T'en fais pas« (»Do not worry about it«), in the US it means "frustration" and in Poland "Chinczyk" ("Chinese").
