Leipziger Frühjclhrsmesse 1971 At the Leipzig Spring Fair in 1971, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the German Democratic Republic issues two multicolored special postage stamps. Powerful conveyor systems of the German Democratic Republic Self-propelled breaker and conveyor system (10-pfennig value) For more than half a century, complete machines for shredding and classifying solid mineral raw materials and similar goods from Magdeburg to many countries in the world. Top products in this field are the self-propelled large crushing and conveying systems from SKET. This plant shreds and transports 400 cubic meters per hour of the solid mineral raw materials mined in opencast mines or quarries, such as limestone, dolomite, ore and others. The unit can be used both as a primary crusher and for the production of finished goods in single-stage comminution. It follows the degradation of the material parallel to the break wall and allows for immediate processing. The system easily overcomes inclines of up to 10 percent. For the operation and maintenance of the entire plant, a device operator and a device attendant are sufficient. The complete crushing plant is self-propelled. It is built on a crawler chassis and can be equipped with the necessary crushers. From the fracture wall, the material is transported by excavator directly into the bulkhead. From there it reaches the crusher with an adjustable, heavy troughed belt conveyor. An intermediate belt as well as a lifting and swiveling troughed belt conveyor transport the shredded goods onto the conveyor belt which can be moved parallel to the break wall. There is no risk of damage to this belt during blasting because the system bridges a sufficiently large safety distance without additional conveyors. The band transfer to the conveyor belt as well as the material task can be monitored via a television system from the driver's station. The system is electrically locked in itself as well as with the Strossenband. The economic benefit of this SKET system results for the user from the following advantages: elimination of idle times, low investment costs, up to 35 percent lower costs due to the elimination of track-bound or vehicle transport, significant reduction in the proportion of construction, use of smaller crushers compared to conventional stationary crushing plants. More than 150 cement plants and 150 plants for the production of ballast and grit prove their worth on a daily basis. They prove the reliability and performance of the products from the VEB heavy machinery construction combine "Ernst Thälmann" Magdeburg.
