From the variety of applications some examples: shipbuilding: production control of sections, measurement for reconstructions or repairs; Wave measurements in trailing channel tests. Vehicle construction: Determination of deformations during load tests. Construction: Acquisition of old stock for reconstruction purposes. Production control of new buildings: investigations of statically or dynamically loaded components and bridges. Transportation: measurement of accident situations; Investigation of the profile freedom on tunnels and bridges. The UMK 10/1318 system is of outstanding importance for architectural and monument preservation, where the combination of large format and true wide-angle is the prerequisite for an optimally designed recording device, as well as in such areas as meteorology, anthropology, medicine, sports science, zoology, etc.
