No special first-day cover envelope 10-pfennig value: coffee pot Form: "Altozier", probably by JF Eberlein, c. 1736/37 Decor: "Flower and Fruit Painting", 18th century The naturalistic design "Altozier", French actually "osier", for wicker basket weaving, is an ornamental decoration typical of the Baroque period. The wickerwork brand appears on all vessels of this service form and gives them their aesthetic appeal. The flower and fruit painting developed in the last third of the 18th century and established the style of European porcelain painting.
