The VEB SKET-Ingan, the Vitkovice ironworks "Klement Gottwald" and the Yugoslavian construction company Komgrap played a special role in the construction. With this modern plant, the economic needs of the GDR can be met with seamless steel tubes with significantly improved surface quality, reduced wall thickness eccentricity and ready-made design. The motif of the stamp shows a section of the hot part of the Rohrstoßbankanlage. In the foreground is the punch press and in the background the Rohrstoßbank shown. Both units form the most important equipment in the forming process of the heat-rolled square billet into a seamless steel tube. They determine to a large extent the more accurate wall thickness tolerance and the improved inner and outer surface quality of the steel pipes. This modern tube mill allows flexible adaptation to customer requirements, changes in requirements and rolling of seamless steel tubes in the minus tolerance range.
