Here is a winemaker against the backdrop of Maxburg shown. This castle near Neustadt was built by the Salians at the beginning of the 11th century and was actually called "Kästenburg" or "Hambacher Schloss". In 1100 it was incorporated into the Duchy of Speyer and used as a fortress for its bishops. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the castle was destroyed several times, including in the Palatinate War of Succession 1688/89. In 1842, the citizens donated the castle to the Bavarian Crown Prince Maximilian for his wedding (hence the name). It was also in the year 1832 a cornerstone of German democracy. Today, the Maxburg is partially restored and a popular destination. The catalog numbers 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 27, 28 and 29 appeared in June and July and August 1948 respectively. For the sake of systematics, the editorial board records the first day of each month as the date of issue.
