On the stamp of the poet and literary scholar Ludwig Uhland is illustrated. He was born on April 26, 1787 in Tübingen. He studied law and languages ​​in Tübingen from 1802 to 1808. There he formed together with Justinus Kerner the "Swabian School of Romanticism", an association of poets, which included Hauff and Mörike. From 1810 to 1814 he was secretary of the Ministry of Justice and then lawyer in Stuttgart. From 1829 he was a professor in Tübingen, he was seconded in 1831 in the state parliament. In 1838 he ended his political career. Uhland died on November 13, 1862 in Tübingen. With its romances and natural ballads is considered one of the most important representatives of the late Romantic in Swabia.
