The word "Emoji" has nothing to do with feelings, but simply means "picture writing" and comes from the Japanese. Nevertheless, emotions can be excellently transported. But not only that: a single sign can express the meaning of whole words. The first 176 emojis were created in the late 1990s. Their triumphal march around the world, however, they did not appear until 2010, when the US Unicode Consortium 722 of the pixel symbols in their character set recorded, so they were from now on deployable. Taking into account their manifold possibilities, the pictorial signs are regarded by linguists as an enrichment of the written language. There is no question that emojis, which can change and adapt exceptionally fast, are an integral part of modern communications.
