The union "art, media, liberal professions" was created by bringing together several independent professional associations and belongs to the Austrian Trade Union Confederation. It is the professional representation of artists, journalists, programmers, technical, commercial, administrative, educational or self-employed professionals in the fields of art, media, education, sport and education, as well as in those areas in training. With around 16,000 members, the trade union "Art, Media, Independent Professions" is the smallest of the 14 trade unions of the ÖGB.
