IFA - commercial vehicles of the GDR With the illustrations of IFA commercial vehicles from the GDR, the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications of the German Democratic Republic issues six multi-colored special postage stamps. Special cancellation from 5 October to 4 December 1982 IFA - Commercial Vehicles 10-pfennig value: M 25 washing and spraying vehicle This washing and spraying vehicle is based on the universal work vehicle Multicar 25 from the VEB IFA Waltershausen vehicle plant. It is used for cleaning sidewalks, narrow streets, squares, etc. The spray and wash structure is suitable for washing traffic signs, crash barriers and facades as well as for the care of parks and green spaces. The water tank holds about 1,800 liters. The basic type was designed so that all other arrival, Auf- and Vorbaugeräte z. B. collecting container, aerial ladder, stem snow plow, spreader assembly can be exchanged according to the construction cost principle. The vehicle is equipped with a 33.1 kW (45 hp) diesel engine.
