Our brother people in Southeast Asia love peace wholeheartedly, but this peace must be free of foreign rule, terror and inhumanity, it must be born in freedom and independence. Nor can the women and men of Vietnam put down their arms, nor is the lives of their children and families threatened with the destruction of US imperialism. There is therefore good reason to further strengthen solidarity with Vietnam and to mobill even more forces for the fight against the USA aggressors and their West German allies. Also, the new special postage stamp "Invincible Vietnam" may be considered in this sense as a reminder, as an appeal. In its design, it symbolizes the insuperable will to live of a people that has embarked on a path of anti-imperialist liberation in a unanimous fighting community. The government and people of the German Democratic Republic are faithful companions of Vietnam in this bitter dispute. This is proven by millions of proofs of social and personal participation in political, moral and material solidarity in support of his just struggle. Many citizens of our country have long been using the opportunity to increase the acts of solidarity for the Vietnamese people by acquiring Vietnam's special stamps.
