Leipzig Spring Fair 1970 At the Leipzig Spring Fair, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the German Democratic Republic issues two multicolored special postage stamps. On the special stamps for the Leipzig Spring Fair 1970, top-quality products from the nation's own industry were once again chosen as motifs. 10 Pfennig value ATZ 65 coordinate switch center The RFT industry is one of the largest plant exporters in the GDR. At the heart of RFT's production and export program are complete systems and systems for message electronics. One of the production and export focuses is on the ATZ automatic telephone central units as well as remote-desk stations. Systematic development work in the field of coordinate switch technology led to a type series of automatic attendants ATZ, which has now been completed with the coordinate switch system ATZ 65. This now provides a closed type series of automatic telephone exchanges for automatic self-dialing long distance traffic, which allows rapid access to rural areas and new housing areas as well as the establishment of full offices, sub-offices and transit levels for transit traffic and the economic expansion of existing local networks. This closed series of automatic telephone exchanges will be exhibited at the Leipzig Spring Fair 1970 as a subsystem of the RFT news system "INTERCOMAT". With the INTERCOMAT system, which consists of different subsystems of the RFT message electronics, complete country communication networks can be set up. The new ATZ 65 coordinate switch system - as well as the well-known and internationally proven ATZ - T 63 coordinate switchgear for 50 connection options and ATZ 64 for a maximum of 600 connection options - is future-proof and universally adaptable to all directly and indirectly controlled selector systems. It is particularly suitable for setting up branch exchanges, full-service exchanges and node exchanges. The individual levels of mediation can be gradually built up and expanded as the previous systems. The Sprechwegdurchschaltung takes place by means of coordinate switches with precious metal contacts. Through the use of these and other high quality low-wear components a high quality of conversation and a significant reduction in maintenance costs are achieved. Further performance and quality features are i.a. the possibility of the formation of Tastwahlgruppen and the routing in the local traffic, the automatic toll collection for local and long-distance traffic in the office and the transmission of fee units to the subscriber and the maintenance-free electronic call and signal power. The telephone station "Variant" represents a valuable enrichment of the type series telephone terminals of the RFT. The telephone set "Variant" serves as a terminal in ZB telephone systems with high-impedance feed bridge, preferably 2 x 500 ohms, 60 V. The design allows a wide adaptation to the most diverse existing and future automatic telephone switching systems.
