In 2009, a total of four stamps will be published on two issue days in the »Post« series. The four motifs on these brands recognize the universal services of Deutsche Post in Germany. The current editions have the themes "sender", "post office", the two brands, which appear on May 7, 2009, worthy of the "transport" and "delivery". Sender: There are many occasions to write a letter or a greeting card, put it in an envelope and provide it with an attractive stamp. It is not always possible to convey congratulations in person, and it is not always possible to visit one's loved ones on their day of honor. Then for many people: a loving greeting by mail is always welcome. And so letter writing maintains and strengthens many kinship and friendship bonds - and often over long distances. Because hardly anything is more personal than handwritten card greetings or letters.
