In the year 2000, from the 1st of June to the 31st of October, for the first time, a Universal World Exhibition will take place in the Federal Republic of Germany. The theme of the EXPO 2000 in Hanover is »Human - Nature - Technology«. The »theme park«, exhibition experience center, illustrates global problems and the search for new ways. Under the motto "Worldwide Projects", exemplary solutions will be presented on key future fields such as communication, health, climate, work, mobility and nutrition. For the EXPO 2000, around 180 states present themselves in their own pavilions or exhibition halls. Up to 40 million visitors from all over the world are expected.
