Racial Poultry With the illustrations of roosters of various poultry breeds, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the German Democratic Republic issues six multicolored special postage stamps. Special Cancellation from January 23 to March 22, 1979 50-pfennig value: Striped Italian A breed bred from Italian chickens. The Italian chicken is a strong, moving, precocious chicken with an excellent laying performance. The eggs are especially art proof and the chicks are cheerful and easy to grow. The striped Italians are black in the basic color with a white stripe. There are also 12 more colors in the Italians. The body mass of the cock is 2.25 to 3 kg and in the hen 1.75 to 2.5 kg.
