This is a special issue on the day of the stamp 1953. A picture of a Prussian and a Bavarian Postillion, at the turn of the century, with a sign in the middle and the words "Stamp Day 1953". Since November 20, 1947, the French currency was 1 Franc = 100 centimes on the Saarland stamps. the editorial board therefore records the nominal values of catalog numbers 226 to 378 in centimes.
