The special stamps with surcharges in favor of the Deutsche Sporthilfe Foundation support the Foundation's tasks in all areas of sport. The new brands are picking up on current sporting events of the year: the Paralympics, the Rowing and Football World Championships and the Winter Olympics. The 21st Rowing World Championships take place from 8 to 13 September on the regatta course Cologne-Fühlingen. At the 16th World Cup from June 10 to July 12, 32 teams will fight for the title for the first time. And athletes from all over the world will meet in Nagano, Japan, for the 18th Winter Olympics from 7 to 22 February as well as the 7th Paralympic Winter Games from 5 to 14 March.
