The brand is the third in a coherent series of special postage stamps to draw attention to the "WIPA 2000", which takes place on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the first issue of stamps in Austria. The special postage stamps "Vienna invites to WIPA 2000", which has been published since 1997, focus on the stamp anniversary. The stamps shaped the face of mail pieces of the fifties and sixties, until this series was gradually replaced by the Bautenserie.
