VII Pioneer Meeting, Dresden 1982 For the VII Pioneer Meeting in Dresden in 1982, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the German Democratic Republic issued two multicolored special postage stamps, one of which was a supplement. The surcharge will be made available to the pioneer organization "Ernst Thälmann". Special cancellations from July 20th to September 19th VII. Pioneer Meeting in Dresden From the 15th to the 22nd of August 1982 the VII Pioneer Meeting takes place in the district of Dresden. This meeting is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the award of the name Ernst Thälmann to the Pioneer Organization by the Central Committee of the SED. The Association of Young Pioneers received the right to wear the name of the great son of the German working class in 1952 for the First Pioneer Meeting in Dresden. Today the pioneer organization "Ernst Thälmann" under the leadership of the Free German Youth is a faithful ally of our socialist school. It helps the youngest citizens of our German Democratic Republic to understand the policy of the SED, to adopt the worldview and moral of the working class. The pioneer organization "Ernst Thälmann" helps to instill in the children a solid connection to the working class and its party, to the working people, to the Soviet Union and to the socialist community of states, as well as to its loyalty to proletarian internationalism. She develops a diverse and interesting life in the group of pioneer groups and friendships to educate universally educated, healthy and joyful children who study diligently and disciplined, boldly think, purposefully work, respect their parents and all working people, love the truth, everywhere to grab with and be helpful. Since the XI. Parliament of the FDJ are the young and Thälmann pioneers on "Pioneer Expedition - Always ready!" went. With this expedition, the pioneers want to help implement the decisions of the Xth Party Congress of the SED. They want to explore what is changing in their environment and what is new. They want to help themselves to create an even better life - their own future. The VII Pioneer Meeting will thus also be a place of settlement of the results and a broad exchange of experience. 10 + 5 Pfennig value: Pioneers in front of the banner with portraits of Ernst Thälmann and Wilhelm Pieck In connection with the awarding of the name "Ernst Thälmann", Hermann Matern handed over to the participants of the 1st Pioneer Meeting on 23 August 1952 on behalf of the Central Committee of the SED the red honor banner with the portraits of Ernst Thalmann and Wilhelm Pieck to the Pioneer organization. Since then the red honor banner is the highest symbol of the pioneer organization "Ernst Thälmann". On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the pioneering organization "Ernst Thälmann", the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the SED gave the Thälmann Pioneers (4th to 7th grade) the right to wear the red scarf. Young Pioneers (1st to 3rd grade) continue to wear the blue scarf. The greetings of the pioneers "For peace and socialism - always ready!" symbolizes the willingness to always stand for peace and socialism and to help ensure that all the children of the world have a happy future.
