International youth work is thus education for international understanding and cooperation in the sense of a dynamic peace education. Youth and student associations are authoritative institutions for programs of international youth work; In addition, other organizations and educational institutions are active. In recent years, new forms of international youth work have emerged, non-organized youth and young workers are more involved, and contacts have extended to overseas countries, particularly developing countries.
